My chemistry career began in the Thamattoor lab at Colby College, where I received my B.A. in 2009. After teaching chemistry at Fryeburg Academy for a year, I joined the lab of Ramesh Jasti at Boston University in 2010. I then moved with Ramesh to the University of Oregon, where I completed my Ph.D. in 2015. My research in the Nuckolls lab is focused on synthesizing helical donor-acceptor graphene nanoribbons for use in bulk heterojunction solar cells, in addition to other unique donor-acceptor architectures incorporating graphene nanoribbons.
