I was originally trained to be a bioorganic synthetic chemist by Professor Breslow; at the later stage of my Ph.D. with Ron, I can’t help myself falling in love with organic electronics, initiated by the study of molecular conductors via STM break junction and single-walled carbon nanotubes at Columbia. Very fortunately, after graduation, many thanks to Colin and Ron, I was allowed to stay and keep studying at Columbia Chemistry Department where my dreams started. I like to identify interesting problems in Engineering, Physics and Biology, and apply my expertise of organic chemistry to tackle those questions and enjoy the funs along the way. Beyond research, I have been honored as the Best Defensive Basketball Player at Columbia gym for six years in a row, and enjoy every moment with my new-born baby son, Jason!!!
